It’s all about Jesus Christ being first…and second and third and fourth and fifth. What I’m saying is, don’t put Jesus first. Jesus is everything. He’s not just first in the rank, He is everything.
— Paul Washer
What is your heart, mind, soul consumed of? The things of this earth, or the Heavenly Father who has given us more than we deserve, the One who loves us even though we are sinners, sent His son to pay our price, the Creator who offers us eternal life… Let Him consume you.

A romantic relationship might very well have been initiated by God, but the moment our focus moves from our Prince to a human love story is the moment we cease to guard our sanctuary, and our entire foundation for success crumbles into ashes. A relationship that leads us closer to our Prince and carefully protects our inner sanctuary is the key to discovering romance as it was truly intended to be—a little taste of heaven on earth.

If you’re a Christian seeking a relationship please check your motive. As Christians we only enter relationships if we intend on getting married, we’re not like the world, we don’t “test drive.” Women are not cars and men are not objects to fill your insecurities, we don’t date for “fun.” If you’re not seeking marriage then stop seeking relationship. And of course the point of marriage is to glorify God, and partner together for the Gospel.
